SmART Schools is a research-based, comprehensive, school improvement initiative that places arts-centered communities of learning at the fulcrum. Teachers provide daily opportunities for all students to use their imaginations and to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding in the core subject areas by integrating arts-infused curriculum and instruction. It seeks to enhance teacher motivation, creativity, and reflective classroom practice.
